One of the most anticipated events in Baton Rouge every year
White Light Night in Mid City Baton Rouge is one of the most anticipated events of the year. It’s a huge event for local businesses in Mid City, up and down Jefferson Hwy near the Garden District down to Government St.
I’m so thankful that they had the shuttles again, there’s just no way to see enough without them. There are concentrated pockets but you can’t walk the whole length and see everything. Even with the shuttles, you really can’t see evertything, as the event is from 6pm-10pm and there’s simply not enough time. I’d love to see extended hours, perhaps 5:30pm -10:30pm. There really is that much to see. This year I started at Circa, where I took some pictures with my new (vintage) digital camera and recorder. I’m really into old tech and I am loving this unconventional camera.
