I just launched my Teachers Pay Teachers store and I am so thrilled!! I made the decision to leave the classroom last year and am now building my own platform and resources for educators.
My background and some of my accomplishments:
My teaching experience includes more than 10 years as a Kâ12 public school art educator, as well as teaching in online learning environments through platforms such as Outschool.
Throughout my career, I have taught students across every grade level from kindergarten through 12th grade. I also spent one year teaching 7th grade English Language Arts, giving me experience designing instruction across multiple subject areas.
In addition to classroom teaching, I served as my school’s Fine Arts Department Chair and was a member of the school leadership team, where I collaborated with colleagues to support arts integration across the curriculum.
Professional learning is one of my greatest passions. I have designed and presented professional development for educators at the school, district, state, and national levels, with a focus on practical, engaging strategies that teachers can immediately implement in their classrooms.
I was also honored to be selected as a 2023 Fund for Teachers Fellow, an experience that further strengthened my commitment to innovative teaching and lifelong learning.
