Louisiana 2027 Elections - Now Seeking Travel

On November 20, 2027, Louisiana will choose new leadership for our state. We need to flip the seats of Louisiana legislators and officials who failed the Common Sense Test that was SB 121.

For those unfamiliar with why SB 121 is such a big deal:

SB121 is drawn in such a way to purposefully pack Democrats into 1 district only.

Previously, there were 2 districts that were pretty much guaranteed to go Democrat. These were so called Opportunity Districts, which were created to help right some of the wrongs of past gerrymandering.

The problem is that Republicans only make up about 33% of the voting population, but they drew the map to make 5 out of 6 districts guaranteed to go Republican.

The author of the map bill that passed, Senator Morris, said repeatedly on the record that this was done to purposefully give more seats to Republicans in congress.

So they purposefully disenfranchised people and drew a map that overrepresented their party just because they could.

It’s flat out cheating.

For immediate release:

On November 20, 2027, Louisiana will vote in new leadership for the state. This is an opportunity to change the trajectory that we are on and put leaders in office who will honor fair play and representation instead of disenfranchising those who disagree with them.

We may disagree about taxes or where to build that new bridge (any year now…), but we need to be able to agree on fair representation. Across parties, we all deserve to have our voices heard and be represented proportionately. This is the bedrock of our democracy. This is our common ground.

Republicans, Independents, Democrats….

It’s time to get R.I.D. of those who show contempt for fair play.

Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Everyone….

We are in D.I.R.E. Circumstances!

We need new leadership to rise all across this state.

If they didn’t vote no, They have to GEAUX!
